Taipei Expo Foundation is a public foundation established by the Taipei City Government to support the development of Taipei City’s exhibition, convention, and related industries, and to operate designated venues within Taipei Expo Park.
The Foundation functions as a city-level public institution, carrying out its responsibilities in alignment with municipal policies, authorized mandates, and applicable governance frameworks.
The Taipei Expo Foundation was established to contribute to Taipei City’s long-term development by supporting professional exchange, venue-based activities, and MICE industry-related initiatives within the city.
Its purpose is grounded in public service, administrative clarity, and sustainable urban development, with a focus on providing stable operational support for exhibitions, conventions, cultural programs, and approved public activities held at designated venues.
Within its authorized scope, the Taipei Expo Foundation undertakes responsibilities that include:

Taipei Expo Park is a multi-functional urban park that integrates public green spaces, cultural facilities, and designated event venues.
Within this environment, the Taipei Expo Foundation is responsible for the operation and management of designated venues at Taipei Expo Park.Other areas of the park may be administered by different municipal authorities.
The Foundation’s role is therefore clearly defined, venue-specific, and operational, ensuring that designated spaces are managed in a manner consistent with approved purposes and public use principles.
In addition to its work at Taipei Expo Park, the Taipei Expo Foundation also undertakes the long-term operation of selected, city-designated innovation and entrepreneurship facilities, as part of Taipei City’s broader startup and innovation initiatives.
These facilities are operated under approved, site-specific arrangements and are venue-based in nature, focusing on the administration and management of physical spaces.Such operations are carried out in coordination with relevant municipal authorities and do not extend the Foundation’s mandate beyond its authorized scope.
In support of Taipei City’s development objectives, the Taipei Expo Foundation contributes by providing venue-based support for professional, cultural, and public events hosted in the city.
International exchange activities are facilitated through events and programs conducted in Taipei City—particularly those hosted at Taipei Expo Park—and are implemented in alignment with municipal development strategies and approved scopes of work.
The Taipei Expo Foundation operates according to the following principles:
alignment with Taipei City Government policies and public interest objectives
clarity of authority and responsibility
transparency in administrative and operational processes
