Core Areas of Responsibility

Within its authorized scope, the Foundation undertakes responsibilities that include the following areas. These responsibilities are carried out in coordination with relevant public authorities and partners, and in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Conducting research, planning, and advisory activities to support the development of Taipei City’s MICE sector and related policy initiatives.
• Supporting efforts to attract international conferences, exhibitions, and major events to be hosted in Taipei City, in alignment with municipal development objectives.
• Advancing professional development and talent cultivation for MICE-related fields, including training, capacity-building, and certification support.
• Carrying out authorized administrative and management functions for designated indoor and outdoor venues within Taipei Expo Park, in accordance with approved use, applicable regulations, and public-use principles.
• Supporting the development of MICE- and design-related industries in Taipei City, with an emphasis on cross-sector collaboration and innovation.
• Facilitating city promotion and international exchange activities connected to Taipei City’s industrial, economic, and cultural development.
• Assisting with initiatives that encourage innovation-driven industry development, in coordination with relevant public and private sector stakeholders.

Scope and Boundaries

These responsibilities are exercised within a shared governance environment involving multiple public authorities and institutional partners.

The Foundation’s mandate does not consolidate operational control over all activities or facilities within Taipei Expo Park. Instead, it supports policy alignment, coordination, and appropriate use of designated public assets, while respecting the statutory responsibilities of other managing entities.
