The role of the Taipei Expo Foundation is defined by its founding charter and organizational regulations, and is carried out within the policy framework of the Taipei City Government.
Rather than functioning as an implementing agency, the Foundation’s mandate centers on institutional support, coordination, and capacity-building. Its responsibilities are structured to reinforce Taipei’s long-term development as an international city for meetings, conventions, exhibitions, and related industries.
Within its authorized scope, the Foundation undertakes responsibilities that include the following areas. These responsibilities are carried out in coordination with relevant public authorities and partners, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
These responsibilities are exercised within a shared governance environment involving multiple public authorities and institutional partners.
The Foundation’s mandate does not consolidate operational control over all activities or facilities within Taipei Expo Park. Instead, it supports policy alignment, coordination, and appropriate use of designated public assets, while respecting the statutory responsibilities of other managing entities.
